Degradation Description
In the campground area of the park, an existing pipe under the road is too small to adequately flood and drain the upstream tidal marshes. This undersized pipe has also created a hazardous condition due to the velicity of the water flowing through it. In addition to causing erosion at both ends of the pipe, the velocity is great enough to be a safety risk to children and animals.
