Degradation Description
Building of a middle school on adjacent property resulted in the creek being culverted under the construction site in the 1960's. A business sitting along the banks had also filled the creek area with debris during their operations. East Creek was severely degraded by bacteria, waste oil, trash, and other debris by surrounding businesses.
